RetailMeNot is a leading savings destination that influences purchase decisions through the power of savings. By connecting partners with their active, engaged shopping audience, they drive growth for more than 70,000 brands internationally. They employ approximately 150 staff in offices across the UK, France, Germany and Netherlands with global links to the HQ in the USA.
RetailMeNot was growing in the UK and France and approached Kean L&D to investigate the provision of training events to support new and upcoming managers and also meet training needs for other team members.
We worked collaboratively with the organisation to develop a European programme to support the new and upcoming managers with skills they would need to move to the next level.
Called Management Express, we delivered a tailored event which enabled managers to step out of the day-to-day, focus on what they needed for their next career step, and with that knowledge go back to the day to day armed with new confidence, a toolkit of quick wins, and an appetite for the challenges ahead.
A few months later we worked on a series of Bite Size events, capturing the immediate needs and gaps RetailMeNot were facing to support their growing teams. It gave the teams the flexibility to drop in on the events they needed support on, fitting around their schedules and their work priorities.
We also worked on specialist training for specific groups, helping them work on team dynamics, communication and responsibility.
