Laura Kean, Founder
Laura established Kean Learning & Development in 2004 after working in HR and Resourcing in-house in finance, telecoms and the media. She draws on over 20 years of experience in working closely with businesses to meet their people aspirations through the best application of resourcing and L&D solutions. Her areas of expertise are in assessment process design, psychometrics, management skills training and diversity. Laura is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and a member of the Association of Business Psychologists and the British Psychological Society.

Stephen Cristini
Stephen has extensive experience in executive coaching and facilitation, cross-cultural management, leadership, change and behaviour. Since 2004, he has worked with senior management teams and individuals in the UK, Europe, the Far and Middle East in industry sectors ranging from Retail through Engineering and IT to Pharmaceutical. Working extensively with organisations on values-driven change programmes, his assignments have included executive coaching, leadership and personal development, cultural change programmes, performance management workshops, team building initiatives, 360 degree feedback and psychometric assessment.
Andrew Wood
Andrew is a development, culture and engagement professional with over 15 years’ experience in leading learning, talent and organisational change in complex global organisations. After ten years leading successful market research businesses in London, Shanghai and Hong Kong, Andrew followed his passion for helping individuals and organisations to develop and become more effective, through communication, culture, and engagement. He has worked in a number of leading global businesses in diverse sectors, including Synovate (now Ipsos), Dentsu Aegis Media, and most recently Pearson, where he was Vice President responsible for the global organisational culture, engagement and the employee value proposition. Andrew is an experienced international and virtual trainer, coach and facilitator, and is accredited to use MBTI, OPQ32, Hogan and other psychometrics.
Debbie Hance
Debbie is a Chartered Psychologist with twenty years’ international consulting experience. She has worked in both the private and public arenas, across a range of sectors including financial services, professional services, the Police force, regulatory bodies, central and local government, transport and logistics and retail. Broadly, she works in the area of talent management but specialises in assessment, leadership, personal development, training, competency modelling, 360-degree feedback and performance management. Debbie headed up the global Assessment Practice for the Willis Group, leading talent management projects in the UK, Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.
Alyson MacDonald
Alyson is an Associate Member of the CIPD and Member of the Association of Business Psychologists with over 20 years’ experience across the whole range of Human Resources and Recruitment, with particular expertise in managing end-to-end recruitment processes. She has worked in a wide range of both private and public sector industries including financial services, international law, media and advertising, aviation, communications and manufacturing. She is qualified with the BPS to use a wide range of psychometric tools including Wave, Myers Briggs and OPQ and several technical tests.
Chris Locke
Chris has over 25 years of experience in developing people from new starters to executive leadership teams. Chris has worked with many organisations, both public and private sector, and enjoys specialisms including leading, designing and delivering learning as well as talent and leadership assessment and development. Most recently in a FTSE 100 company where he was Vice President of Leadership Development working in countries all over the world delivering and supporting strategic change though people growth and development with many cultures. Chris has an MBA and is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel & Development. He is a qualified and experienced coach and is licenced to use MBTI, Golden, Hogan, Facet5 and LVI 360°.
Claire Thomas
Claire is a learning and development professional with over fifteen years’ experience in the private and public sectors. She has a passion for helping individuals, groups and teams realise their ambitions and potential and has done this through a wide variety of means including: designing and delivering training events/assessment centres, facilitating team away days/team building events, coaching individuals and using psychometrics to recruit, develop and retain talent. Claire is a member of the British Psychological Society, an accredited executive coach and is qualified to use a wide range of psychometric assessment tools including: Myers Briggs, WAVE, Belbin, Lumina and Talent Gene.
Andrew Wakelin
Andrew is a senior equality, diversity & inclusion practitioner with extensive experience within the profession. Over the last 25 years, this has included research, analysis, strategy development, and the direction and implementation of diversity change management programmes. Much of his current work focusses on the scientific analysis of HR and equality and diversity data and he has undertaken a considerable amount of work around equal pay, employee engagement surveys, predictive HR analytics, and diversity metrics and dashboards. Andrew was previously the senior diversity and inclusion manager for Lloyds Banking Group and whilst in that role, Lloyds achieved the number one position in every major diversity benchmark in the UK. Andrew is renowned for his clear focus, always operating with complete integrity and a strong reputation for delivering successful projects on time and within budget. He is passionate about getting the best out of people and has led teams, acted as a mentor and coached colleagues for over 25 years.
